Before you submit a request, collect the information that makes coupling selection faster: motor power, rpm, driven equipment, shaft diameters, keyway sizes, expected starts per hour, ambient temperature and whether the machine sees shock load or reversing. If you are replacing an existing coupling, add photos of both hubs, the spider or disc pack, and any visible fretting marks. If the line is down, say so in the urgency field so the message is treated as a spare request first.

For OEM projects, our engineers may ask for an outline drawing, guard envelope, desired stiffness and maintenance access. We keep the form short enough for a buyer to finish, but the more engineering facts you include, the less time we spend asking follow-up questions. That means a cleaner quote and fewer chances of ordering a coupling that fits the shaft but not the machine.

Distributors can also use this page when a customer walks in with only a worn spider, a broken guard tag or a partial Lovejoy coupling size chart. Include approximate measurements and the machine type even if the exact part number is unknown. We will separate what can be safely cross-referenced from what needs an engineer's review, and we will clearly flag any assumption that should be checked before purchase.
